Why Kapok over Memory Foam?
Think a sturdy base and back rest, that neither sinks in nor is springy. Kapok, owing to its thin cell walls and a large lumen (hollow space), make the fibre super light and buoyant. Reason why it does not lump like normal cotton.
Conventional Sofas are composed of Memory Foam, derived from Petroleum. While it is no hidden fact that these are a repository of chemicals, they often break down over time, causing sagging and emanating VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) that are inhaled by you.
The edges of a Kapok Sofa do not bend and remain intact, proving to not only be comfortable but even long-lasting.

While the 2:3 rule suggests that a sofa should be 2/3rd of the size of the room, we understand that every house has a different layout and requirement.

Maintenance: That thing we often don’t talk about
For those of you who would like an additional layer to protect the sofa from dust or spillage, we can provide zippered, washable sofa covers. We use organic cotton Canvas as the fabric for the sofa as well as the cover.

Each time that I have asked them to make me a customized Kapok sofa, they've lived upto it. It does not sink in like memory foam and feels firm and nice.

How to measure for 3 seater sofa
Hi Sushma,
The following needs to be taken into account:
1. Kindly measure the inside of the wooden sofa frame in length (from left to right i.e. from one arm panel to the other. (In Inches)
This could be taken as a single unit or individually as 3 units. For the latter, you can simply divide the inside length into 3 equal parts.
2. Secondly, kindly measure the width of the inside of the wooden frame (i.e. the area where you would keep the sofa seats). (In Inches)
3. For the back rest seater, consider the measurement from the top of the base seater to the vertical edge of the wooden frame (i.e the area where you would be resting your back). Conversely you can opt for standard sized cushions (typically 24 x 24 inch).
We provide the seaters for the sofa where you already have a wooden base or diwan.
